About Koji Muraishi

Koji is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Macau. Being born into a Korean, Japanese and Macanese family, Koji blends his experience in different cultures into his music to create his own sound unlike any other. Koji has worked with many individuals all over the world thanks to his abilities to speak English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese and Korean.

He began making a name for himself in Macau at the age of 17, working with musicians and personalities all over the city including Winifai and Houdee. During his time in Macau, he took part in two songs that won 澳廣視至愛新聽力 award, the most prestigious music-based award possible in Macau.

Since then, he has performed in many cities worldwide such as New York City, Boston, South Korea, Hong Kong and Macau

In 2023, he moved away from Macau to study in Boston at Berklee College of Music with a scholarship. It was here where he had the privilege to study under Victor Wooten, John Patitucci, Oscar Stagnaro, Anthony Vitti, Joe Santerre, and Michael Pope among other great instructors.

In 2024, he worked under famed K-pop idol Henry Lau as his stage assistant/stagehand in New York City. He played for Ghaniyya Ghazi for the New England Indonesia Festival, and he played for Valeriia Vovk at the DROM in New York City.
